One of the guards offered to take my picture and I had no idea this is what he had in mind. I guess a lot of tourists do this shot and I find it so funny because it’s something I’d never think of taking.g

Chasing the sunrise, I am greeted by the expansive entrance of Angkor Wat. I had a long way to go before reaching the viewing spot and my excitement just kept on escalating.

The sights all around are so beautiful. The moat seating area by the entrance is another viewing spot to see the sunrise.

Took 10-second timer shots of myself my entire trip. Setting up shots required time and patience. Travelling solo allowed me the luxury of time and freedom to explore the temples and take photos and videos the way I wanted to.

Timelapse # 2: The central temple

The best view of Angkor Wat. Before the stairs construction, the central temple was dubbed as one of the world’s scariest stairs. The stairs are very steep and difficult to climb so as to demonstrate that reaching the kingdom of the gods was no easy task.
